From a captive top National Manager with Bankers Life and Casualty to today managing independent agents within six thriving agencies, Joe Violetta shares the core values driving 4 Core's exponential success.

Purpose

Joe's story begins with a life event where he was injured and couldn't walk for six months and how this experience influenced his mindset and career path. Joe experienced seniors struggling with physical therapy and how some would never recover. Joe had an epiphany that he should do something more meaningful. Providing long-term care solutions to seniors was his segway into the insurance industry.

Quality

Joe shares the difference between independent and captive. As a captive agent, the products did not match the market; inferior, higher costs, you couldn't get people qualified. Conversely, as an independent agent partnered with IFG, you can take a holistic approach with 30 products that could help a client. Matching your client with a product is easier!

Joe shares that the captive space is one way to start an insurance career. However, he's learned it's more fruitful for the agent and better for the client if you are independent. "If you are out there and you can sell two or three products in a household, and your product doesn't stack up, and the price is more ... You are really good at what you do."
