Matthew reflects on this admiration for the new Final Expense product that gives agents a commission similar to a Med Supp with a lower front end and a bigger trail like a HEAP commission—with a per-app bonus. It is rare for a commission structure to be this robust for final expense agents.
Bankers Fidelity launched the Vantage Flex Plus Hospital Indemnity plan in the last nine months. Ryan talks about the unique nature of this policy and details the many features other policies do not offer. Vantage Flex Plus is a customizable, supplemental insurance plan to assist your client with hospital confinement expenses due to an illness or injury. They provide a 30-day separation period, which benefits your client five times yearly—eleven different riders to customize for your client's specific need. Agents can write this policy during AEP and get paid right away.
Most carriers choose coverage in $5K increments for cancer plans. Still, Bankers Fidelity offers a range in the thousand dollars increments, which helps agents figure out the best premium to retain that client and work within their budget. Matthew sums up the ideal product for agents, " Are the commissions good? Is it easy to underwrite, and is it easy to get paid?"
