The Innovative Interview with Clare Luffman is now available on YouTube! Hosted by Director of Marketing and Sales Matthew Murray, IFG is excited to hear from Top Producing agent Clare Luffman and learn more about her approach to Medicare sales during AEP 2023. This week, Clare is number nine on the IFG #AEP2023 Leaderboard, with 137 apps. 

Clare Luffman started her Medicare career in 2020 under the tutelage of Real Senior Management gurus Zachary McKenzie and Keith Real. She attributes her success to excellent field training and the support she receives from Real Senior Management and IFG. As a result, Clare hit her stride and doubled her apps from 75 to 150 in the first two years. Her goals are even higher today, as she has just hit 137 in week four and is set to achieve over 200 apps in 2023.

Clare shared, "It's the support that makes the difference. The knowledge that RSM is there for me. Knowing if I have a question, these guys have my back. Their support gives me the confidence I need to be successful."

Working in 18 different counties, Clare's secret to success is knowing the Medicare plans in her area inside and out. She begins her preparation in September by studying and preparing binders by county. Then, she develops "cheat" sheets for her clients with the valuable information her seniors need to make the most of their Medicare benefits. 

Permission to Contacts: On October 1, Clare touches base with all of her contacts by a letter outlining what's new and any recommendations she thinks will benefit her client. "Strategic planning makes ALL the difference in your success during AEP," Clare said. She enjoys the simple business model and working in the field to build her book of business and referrals. Clare's long-term goal is to become work optional by age 56. Then, with 1500 clients on the books, she can concentrate fully on helping her seniors with their current plans and the residual business for years to come.
