Gerrick is not only an expert in the field of insurance but also a health and wellness professional who served as a drug and alcohol counselor for many years before starting his agency. His drive for a challenge has inspired IFG agents company-wide to participate in the 75-hard challenge for overall weight loss and fitness. Our own Matthew Murray testifies to a 30 pounds weight loss during the challenge in 2022.

The two share wisdom on accountability and the big ask of yourself as an agent trying to get from point A to point B. "You end up doing a lot of work that no one sees," shared Gerrick. But, with the same mindset he has for fitness, Gerrick said he gave in to the process instead of focusing on the end result.

Gerrick shares his journey from Final Expense to Medicare, now offering ACA to his growing client base. His next steps include continuing to double down on health insurance sales to help families, customer service, and local referral partners to drive organic traffic to his offices in North Palm Beach, Florida.

Gerrick recognizes that changes are coming in the market and wants to be ready to help as many clients as possible. "We definitely see the markets and everything going on with Medicare and under 65. So there will be a lot of good changes overall for beneficiaries and individuals."

Gerrick continues to reinvest, working as hard as possible to succeed. He attributes his success to an excellent partnership with Innovative Financial Group (IFG). From 80 ACA apps in April 2022 to 1,500 in January and February 2023, Gerrick projects to increase his sales to 6,000 apps each month under his current system.
