Hosted by Director of Marketing and Sales Matthew Murray, IFG is excited to have our leader Tyler Rees back in the studio to connect with BBI's superb talent, Johnny Brock, about the value of being omnipresent in the digital landscape. "Posting lots of content all over the place gives people a reason to reach out to us. We always connect with agents who are interested in working with us on our social channels. Being everywhere is how we connect to build those relationships," Matthew shared. The three reflect on the years of collaboration that has led to huge gains and enabled both companies to scale.
Tyler shared the history of their partnership and how a jealous few tried to keep BBI and IFG from collaborating. "By helping each other with no financial gain and just because we liked each other... The growth on both sides has just been tremendous."
"Culture is one of the most important things, especially when building a branded office that you want people to come to," said Johnny Brock. The three go on to discuss the details of the ideal office setting. Tyler adds, "We try not to make mistakes and be as efficient as possible. But, a big part of what we do is constantly testing and trying new things on the marketing side, sales side, and recruiting to find any way we can to create separation from our competition and continue to deliver the best value proposition in the industry."
IFG invests heavily in our different marketing strategies, sales models, and agents and partners. When agents spend time with IFG leadership, they can see investing in people is more than just buying direct mail and digital leads. Tyler emphasizes, "We care more about who they are as people helping them and ensuring they accomplish what they want." Regarding agent retention, no one else in the space has a 98% persistence. The support at IFG is unmatched.
Johnny Brock shares tactics for recruiting agents and making sales, "It's the little things that make the difference, like remembering someone's birthday." Human connection and investing time make all the difference.
The three discuss industry power shifts, new CMS regulations, and the rising costs of converting leads to clients. Tyler shares that IFG research reveals the focus on price for leads has changed. Investing in a higher-quality lead has now proven more effective for agents. "We want the $250 cost per sales lead because when the agent receives that call, the handoff is so much better, Tyler said. Offshore, CMS-approved leads are old. Our lead generation is US based and more reliable. Agents receive ten transfers from IFG average closing of 3 to 5 sales. Our agents ask, "How can we get more of these?"
