As we prepare for PY2026 AEP, we wanted to share two important updates that may impact your operations.

Marketing and Communications Compliance

On August 7, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) announced that Assurance IQ and Media Alpha will pay a combined total of $145 million to settle FTC charges related to deceptive and misleading lead generation and marketing practices.

In light of this, please respond to this email within 2 business days to notify IFG Sales Integrity if you currently work with Media Alpha and/or QuoteLab, or plan to do so, and provide details of the services and/or materials involved.

Please also remember:

• You are responsible for ensuring that all leads you purchase are compliant with applicable regulations.

• All marketing materials must be submitted to IFG and our carrier partners for review and filing.

Data Security Reminder

At IFG, safeguarding the personal and health information of our members is a top priority. As a valued partner, we want to remind you of your responsibility to report any security breach involving Unsecured Protected Health Information (PHI).

Per the terms of your Business Associate Agreement, you are required to notify IFG of any such breach as soon as possible, and no later than five (5) calendar days from the date of discovery.
